Why it exists
Vanilla takes nine months to cure. That fact became the whole game: Vanilla Isle runs on real patience instead of push notifications, and the island keeps working while you are away without punishing you for leaving.
The economy is a closed loop between six neighbour households, so prices move because of what the island did this week rather than a remote server event. It is our highest-rated title and the one players write the longest letters about.

What makes it work
Crops on real clocks
Curing racks, drying weather and a nine-month vanilla cycle compressed to a season — but never sped up by a purchase.
Six neighbour households
A closed island economy where every price you see is the result of something a neighbour actually did.
Away-time that is kind
Come back after a month and the island has kept going. Nothing rots, nothing is repossessed, nothing nags.
Letters, not quests
Progression arrives as handwritten notes from neighbours, voiced by a cast recorded in Papeete.
