Why it exists
TideKeeper began as an internal tool for the studio's morning surf check and turned into the app we are asked about most. It answers one question — is it worth paddling out — and refuses to ask a second one.
The hard part was never the data. It was making a forecast legible on a screen covered in seawater, at dawn, one-handed, on a phone with two bars. Everything ships pre-cached, the type scale starts at 20pt, and the primary reading is a single sentence.

One-sentence forecast
The top of the screen is a plain-language verdict. Charts live below it for the people who want them.
Seventy-two hours offline
Forecasts pre-cache on Wi-Fi and stay readable with no signal at all, which is the normal state of a reef pass.
Tide-aware alerts
Alerts fire on the combination of swell, wind and tide you define, not on a generic wave-height threshold.
Glove and salt friendly
Large hit targets, high-contrast dawn theme and a layout that survives a wet, smeared screen.
