Why it exists
PearlNote is the smallest thing we ship and the one we are proudest of technically. There is no account, no sync server and no analytics SDK. Your entries are encrypted on the device and leave it only if you export them yourself.
That constraint shaped the product: streaks that forgive a missed day, a search that runs locally over years of text in under a hundred milliseconds, and a data export that is plain Markdown in a zip you can read in twenty years.
